Every year different types of natural disaster shit in these specific areas and all these natural disasters directly hit the agricultural at first, as a result the farmers loss their crops, poultry, fishes livestock, land, household resources and even their professions. They fall in a great danger and cannot fulfill their daily needs regarding the life and livelihoods to ensure their food security properly. All these changes threaten the food security, livelihoods, health and education especially of the poor and lower middle class families.

In light of these situations, BMS feels urge to assist the most vulnerable rural people of Bangladesh to overcome soaring food prices and boost their agricultural production and ensure food security at the household and community levels through provisions of different inputs. BMS thinks that there is a great scope to works for agro based sector through capacity development and establishing linkage to the beneficiary households with IGA for their secured and better lives and livelihoods.
